Privacy notice

Effective October 5, 2026. This notice describes information handled by The 1031 Source's educational tools and inquiry forms.

Information you provide

Guide and chat access forms collect your name and email. An exchange inquiry may also include a phone number, property state, sale stage, closing date, your message, and permission to contact you. We record the submission page, referring website, and campaign information when supplied.

Use and access

Submitted contact records are restricted to site administrators. We use them to provide requested resources, respond to inquiries, and understand where inquiries originate. Service providers that host this site and process notifications handle information needed to deliver those services. An inquiry may generate an administrator notification.

Submitting a guide or chat access form does not subscribe you to promotional messages. When you request a follow-up, your permission covers that request. Your details will not be shared with a QI for a referral without your permission; this site does not automatically open an exchange account.

AI and browser storage

Questions and details entered in AI tools are processed by AI service providers to generate responses. Do not submit tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or confidential documents. The chat uses browser storage to remember access and usage limits. The site may record page visits and form-completion events; custom form-completion events do not include your contact details or financial information.

Your requests

To request access, correction, deletion, or an end to follow-up about your inquiry, use our Contact form. Information may need to be retained for applicable legal or security requirements. Do not include additional sensitive information in a privacy request.
